Mr. Michael Chahinian has two decades worth of relevant experience and education in the public and private sectors.

Mr. Chahinian worked within the U.S. Department of Defense’s Defense Innovation Unit (DIU), a venture capital unit seeding the best new commercial enterprises within robotics and software with the backing of the DoD. While there he was recognized by AFCEA International as a 40 Under 40 Award Winner. As an investment banker at Citigroup he provided M&A and capital raising advisory with Wall Street's leading Industrials team, focusing on Aerospace and Defense.

Mr. Chahinian joined the Navy as an active-duty ship officer where he served on some of the most technologically advanced ships in the world and led the campaign that won the Navy’s highest award for public affairs. He started his career on Capitol Hill for several years as a legislative assistant for appropriations and budget issues in both the House and Senate.

Mr. Chahinian earned Masters' degrees in National Security and Strategic Studies from the U.S. Naval War College and Business Administration from NYU Stern School of Business. He graduated from Cornell University with a degree in Government and concentration in East Asian Studies.
